Here we go...

12 minutes until 2014. My goal (I don't like the word resolution) is to create and find beauty in every day. To help me with that challenge, I've taken on a few projects, such as starting a Project Life album, a 365 photo project, and the Creative Every Day challenge for 2014. I don't expect to do all these things every day. I just hope to find a way to do something creative every day.

Made with paper clay, chalk ink, distress ink, pencil.

This was inspired by the ATC I made for a swap that was meant to be in the style of prehistoric art. I suspect my partner didn't much care for it. I really liked it. It just shows you what art is about, isn't it? Truly in the eye of the beholder, and a matter of personal taste and feeling.

I had fun with the technique on that ATC, and decided to try again.

I have been missing my brother. Thinking about him ajd father's day, and how his children are missing out on such a great Dad. Thinking about my Dad, who lost a son. And just... missing him.
